Immovable Obstructions
(Rule 16.1) - All pop-up sprinkler heads, distance markers, tarmac buggy paths, Worcestershire Way markers, bridges and railings are immovable obstructions. Where relief is taken the ball may be lifted without penalty, and dropped in accordance with

If it is known or virtually certain that a player’s ball hit a power line, wire, or a pole supporting a power line or wire during the play of the 5th hole the stroke does not count. The player must play a ball without penalty from where the previous stroke was made, see
Rule 14.6
G.U.R. - In any areas marked G.U.R. the player must take
complete relief as provided in
Rule 2.4 without penalty. G.U.R. will be marked by white lines or identified before play is commenced either on the Intelligent Golf website or on the local rule notice board. Play is prohibited from these areas
Areas in bunkers where sand has been removed by the movement of water resulting in deep furrows through the sand are ground under repair. The player may take relief in the bunker as provided in
Rule 16.1 without penalty.
Flower Beds - All flower beds surrounding the 18th green and at the back of the 3rd green are deemed
No Play Zones. Play is prohibited from these areas. A free drop must be taken
Large or hard ant hills on the course are, at the player’s option, loose impediments that may be removed under
Rule 15.1 or ground under repair from which relief is allowed under
Rule 16.1
Damage that is clearly identifiable as having been caused by animal hoofs is ground under repair from which free relief is allowed under
Rule 16.1. But on the putting green,
Rule 16.1 does not apply as such damage may be repaired under Rule 13.1
